This li'l piggy cried "Wee Wii"

Work has become very busy. I barely have time to do anything... so I'm going part time for a few months from August 1st. Basically I think, at this point, my kids don't need me- I NEED THEM. Pumpkin starts Kindergarten this fall (ooh, he gets to go on the big yellow bus!). My mommy is leaving in five weeks(nooooooooooo! That should not be allowed!!) which is when I will be switching to PT. I am very happy with this decision.
Pumpkin had a magic show at daycare today. I can't wait for him to tell me all about it. Today, someone at work asked me how the "wee one" was. I asked them "the wee one" or the one that's "addicted to the Wii"?!
Gotta leave work now and cuddle the Wee one and the Wii addict!

Back to work

Just another manic monday...

It's been busy the past few days. We had a dinner to go to Friday and a swim party on Saturday. Sunday was supposed to be the day we took Pumpkin to watch 'Hotel for dogs' but I was so wiped out that we told him that "the movies were closed that day because of the snow". I felt like a heel fibbing to him like that but that was the explanation he would accept happily. I therefore had to take him to watch it yesterday. It was funny how Pumpkin and I were the only ones in the movie hall being a Monday.He gets his black and white picture taken today at school. I told him to smile 'naturally'. Hope he knows what that means!

Today started with Pumpkin being super excited that he could wear his oversized "Alvin and the chipmunks" sweatshirt to school today. He also wanted his hair spiked and gelled for school. I asked him if he wanted to come for my sono on Thursday and he asked me if we were going to get the baby on the same day. So I explained to him for the umpteenth time that the baby has to still grow in mommy's belly for a little longer and he sounded like he understood. His bunk bed is coming this week! Yay!
